"CLASSIC" CHIROPRACTIC OSSEOUS (BONE) ADJUSTMENTS:

Gentle focused force applied to the full spine and specific joints to restore motion.  Main objective is to allow full nerve communication.  Nerves travel from the brain through the spinal cord and end up directly touching nearly every cell in our bodies.  This technique produces an audible release.

THOMPSON DROP TECHNIQUE

Known as a low force technique.  This style uses levered panels built into the adjusting table which drop 1/2 inch and make a "bang" sound with each adjustment.

SACRO OCCIPITAL TECHNIQUE

Known as a non-force technique.  Uses wedge shaped blocks under the pelvis to allow gravity to help balance the hips and low back.  Addresses the relationship between the base of the skull and the base of the spine.

ACTIVATOR

A very low force method.  Here the instrument is used but not the analysis technique.  Appropriate adjustment for infants, osteoporosis, acute trauma, or an apprehensive individual.

TMJ

Using activator, somatic reprogramming (see Nerve & Muscle) and gentle leverage during active range of motion, balanced movement is gained in the jaw joints.

LOGAN BASIC

A non-force technique that addresses the spine from the base up.  Sacrum (sacred bone) and coccyx (tail bone) are emphasized.
